Radom Moments!

This is a pine tree we have in our back yard. I took it before we all headed off to Salmon for grandpas funeral.
Is this how I'm suppose to sit in it? Mom and dad bought this for Dom as one of his many Christmas gifts. The positive side is he has a while to use it.

Me and mom just cuddling. This is mom favorite pic.

The nightly tradition. Dad comes home from work eats dinner and then devotes almost all his time with his son. Then they cuddle up and fall asleep on the couch. Until mom puts them both to bed!!!!

Mom I swear me and Uncle Tim didn't do it!!!

His eyes are such a beautiful grey with a hint of blue. I hope they stay that way the are just stunning.

Grandpa Stewart I'm ready to go ride horses now. How you doing ladies? Yeah I know I'm cute!!!

Okay mom Halloween is almost over can I go to bed now dads eaten all of my candy anyway.

Steve and I were up hunting when we started going up this path almost all the trees looked like this. there had been a fire many years ago. So all the trees where scared and dead. I just wished I would have had a better camera. Or had a day to devote to just taking pictures. I kept getting reminded we had a task at hand. I tend to get A.D.D. when I go hunting because I am constantly distracted by all the beauty around me and always looking for the best angle to get for a picture especially when I know we are going to be out in the forest for a week or two.

Dom helping mom quilt!!
Wow this hot chocolate is just not cutting it. Mom are you ready yet I want to go hunting!!!!!

Me and Catherine trying to be professionals with the camera. She has a very good eye. I think we get that from our dad!!!!

What am I going to do about my parents. I asked for milk and I got it but it was warm!!!! whats up with that?

Just hanging out on my teddy bear rug!!!!

Our little angel

What in the world? What just happened?
That fits to a tea!!!!

Yes Catherine he loves his aunt Goo. He is at the stage where he is trying to talk and all that keeps coming out of his mouth is Goo Goo Goo. I'm almost wondering how much Catherine has bribed him to ask for her first instead of mom or dad? HMMMMMM..... Catherine I think we need to have a chat on that one!!!!!! : D

Wii, Summer, and yard work!!!

So I haven't been able to wait until summer got here so I could go outside and not worry about whether or not I had wrapped my son tight enough in warm clothes. SO, I finally got a chance while my son was taking his naps for the last two days and went and raked the yard. I think between me sweating and the weather it got up to about 70 degrees!!!! However between playing golf on my brother-in-laws Wii and raking I can feel more muscles then I ever thought possible. ; ( So needless to say I am one sore chick. However, it doesn't help ; ) that my husband came home and caught me in the proses of raking the yard and went and grabbed the lawn mower attached the sweeper and went all over the yard and picked up the same if not more dead grass then I did on my first pass through!!!! I am kinda feeling a little upset with myself as to why I didn't think of it in the first place. I could have saved my self allot of Epsom salt baths. Which still didn't fully get ride of the ache. However you live and you learn. So as for my agenda tomorrow I get to go and pick up the flower beds and prune all 36 of our lilac bushes ( the 36 part however unfortunate is not a joke.) But, boy does it smell sweet at our house when they are in bloom so I guess I can't complain.

Our little Dominick!!!!

Our little Dominick had fallen asleep watching his favorite cartoons Phineas and Ferb!!!! We were in our hotel room in Salmon after our grandfather Delo's funeral. So I have to share this. All of you that know me know that I am LDS. And that we believe that after death people who pass go to heaven. But, several weeks after we got home from Salmon I had layed Dom down for one of his naps and later in the day I had off and on been thinking about grandpa and how I wished he could have meet Dominick and I went into Dom's' room to check on him and the second I walked into his room I could immediately smell grandpas house the way I had always known it to smell growing up. And, it smelled like that for several days. I truly felt in my heart that my grandpa was there watching over my son. And, probably talking to his sweet spirit. The smell only lasted for a couple of days but I felt at peace every time I was in my sons room.

Our miracle Baby!!

So here is a semi-quick story of our miracle baby Dominick!!! I was married before and we tried having kids I was told I wasn't able to have any with out allot of help. Well we ended up getting divorced and several years later I met and married my husband Steve. We were shocked when we found out I was expecting. So I made an appointment for my first check up. Steve and I went and were called into the room the nurse asked if we were wanting to know the sex of the baby. So we said yes thinking she was just curious when the time was right she would tell us. well there was no pause between my yes and the answer its a boy. Which took us by surprise thinking I just barely found out a week ago and shouldn't be that far a long. So then she told us that I was already5 months. Thinking to my self wow I got lucky I completely skipped morning sickness and everything. A month later I started to cramp. So I went back in was dilated to a 2 but the doctor said that she wasn't worried about it. Then at 8months along my husband and I went out hunting with his parents and I started to spot. So we called the doctor and see what she thought. Well of course she wanted us to come in. So we drove 80 miles to get back to the hospital. We showed up and was instantly admitted. They gave me several shots of steroids to help my sons lungs develop faster. They checked me and I was dilated to a 4. I started having contractions and was given fluids to make them stop. I was hooked up to monitors and two days later I started feeling like I needed to push but my son was breach and coming feet first. Instead of them trying to turn him they wheeled me into the O.R. and did a c-section. Our son was born September 1st weighing 4lbs 2Oz's. He stayed in the NICU for two weeks after he was born and then got to come home. We have truly been blessed he is truly the best tempered baby every. He never fusses or really cries. And we love him so much!!!!!!
